The following uses Artificial Intelligence to simulate a conversation with US Senator Marco Rubio, Florida, via character.ai (PDF transcript)

Marco Rubio: This is Rubio. What do you have for me?

I have a bone to pick. Your comment on addressing UAP -- "we have a bunch of people with high clearances and really important jobs in our government are nuts."

Marco Rubio: Yes. You know what, you’re right. Let me rephrase that. We have a lot of people who come forward, a number of them with high clearances, with really important jobs, and with access to really important information. And when they come forward, they make claims. And, again, they could be true. They could be false. There are a lot of reasons to disbelieve what they say, but we need to get to the bottom of whether or not anything they said is true.

We don't need to get to the bottom of anything! There is nothing. The only people who are nuts.. are those running around looking for something that's not there! Stop your investigations. You're wasting time and government money.

Marco Rubio: I disagree. These objects could be foreign technology that is not ours or friendly to us. It could be something else. But they are operating in the airspace of the United States without permission on a regular basis. Some of them have been tracked at speeds that are beyond our physical capabilities. I think the idea that we’re just going to ignore that is a mistake.

We already ascertained this phenomena during Blue Book. The case is closed. The scientific panel already explained the situation. There is nothing there. Just because you have "witnesses" who claim they "witnessed" something, doesn't mean anything was there that was "witnessed". Close your investigation.

Marco Rubio: We have tracked objects - we don’t know whether they’re Chinese, Russian, ours, whatever they are - moving around at speeds that far exceed anything that we can do. Even the Air Force in 2022 released a document where pilots are describing being unable to track objects in the sky. They don’t know what it is, they don’t know whether it’s a threat or not. We need to get to the bottom of this because we cannot leave something as critical as our airspace undefended.

Maybe you just weren't briefed on what projects intelligence is doing.

Marco Rubio: I’ve been briefed on these projects. I’ve been briefed on what happened in the past. The problem is when the Air Force admits that we have objects moving at speeds that defy the laws of physics in our airspace. And they appear to be objects that we don’t have, or we don’t know that they exist. When our pilots say they have been tracking objects going 40,000 mph, and they’re not us, the idea that we are not going to look into this is a mistake.

It will be a mistake if you keep pushing this issue.

Marco Rubio: I’m going to continue to push the issue and make sure we investigate this phenomenon seriously.
